Would you tell somebody?

A review is the main way people in small towns decide whether to drive four hours or stay home and see me. If you've got a minute, it genuinely helps the next person.

If something isn't right, call me instead

A review isn't the place to sort out a problem, and I'd rather hear it from you directly than read it later. If your recovery isn't going the way you expected, or something about the visit didn't sit right, call the clinic in your town and say so. The numbers are on the emergency numbers page, and every one of them reaches somebody who can get a message to me.

What to write

Don't overthink it. A couple of sentences about what you came in for and how it went is worth more than a long one. If a specific person took good care of you — the front desk, the PA in your town, the nurse who called you the week before surgery — name them. They'll see it.

One thing I have to ask

Please don't include anything you'd rather keep private. A review is public and permanent, and I'm not allowed to reply to anything medical in one — so if I answer with a short thank-you and nothing else, that's why.
